Yes. The Community Foundation can and does serve as the Trustee for
planned gifts such as a charitable remainder trust or a charitable
annuity trust.
I don't have the software needed to calculate planned giving scenarios. Can the Community Foundation provide these?
Yes. The Community Foundation can prepare planned giving calculations
for you and your clients using a variety of life income scenarios.

My clients would like to make a gift of appreciated stock. Can the Community Foundation handle this type of gift?
Yes, this can be handled easily. Please contact Community Foundation staff for information on transferring gifts of securities.
My clients would like to name their favorite charity to receive gfits from their fund. What type of fund would you suggest?
We would suggest they set up a designated fund. Your clients will be
able to name one or more nonprofit organizations to benefit from their
generosity in perpetuity.
My clients would like to create a Donor Advised Fund. Why should they do this through the Community Foundation?
Our personalized, professional grant making expertise can help your
clients make a difference. Should they choose this type of service,
Community Foundation staff can assist your clients in creating
guidelines for their fund, direct grant proposals to their fund,
process the applications, assist with the review of applications, and
handle the paperwork for grant distributions and final reports. Your
clients can concentrate on reviewing proposals which are closely
aligned with their charitable interests.
