Cook County Community Fund

Kids Learn to Skate is just one of the programs put on by the Cook County Amateur Hockey Association. The program, which teaches kids from more than 40 families to skate, is just one of the many recipients of funds from the Cook County Community Fund.

The Cook County Community Fund, an affiliate fund of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, was created in 2003 to serve as a resource for the Cook County Region.

Through its advisory board of community leaders, the Fund

  • attracts and manages a growing endowment for our area’s future
  • identifies and effectively responds to changing community needs through strategic grant-making
  • provides financial stewardship and community leadership

Each year, the Cook County Community Advisory Board distributes grants to non-profits in the Cook County Region. Interested in applying for a grant from the Cook County Community Fund? Read grant guidelines here.
