The first Scott Anderson Leadership Forum for 70 area high schools students, held July 21-25, 2003, was funded by a grant of $22,000 to Duluth Public Schools from the Scott Anderson Leadership Foundation fund. The purpose is to provide an ongoing high-quality leadership development program for high school students with the objectives of

1. providing training in servant-leadership principles and values,
2. considering their opportunities and responsibilities as a leader, and
3. establishing an action plan for areas of leadership responsibility and/or their school and implementing the plan the following year.
